Glacier Hills Credit Union is proud to announce their new President/CEO, Kelly McDonough. Kelly comes to Glacier Hills Credit Union with 33 years of credit union industry experience. Kelly was hired as successor for retiring President/CEO Dennis D. Degenhardt. Dennis has lead Glacier Hills Credit Union for the past 14 years. During Dennis’ tenure, Glacier Hills Credit Union has grown to over $115 million in assets with 15,000 members.
“It’s been my pleasure to serve the members of Glacier Hills Credit Union. I want to thank the staff, board, and membership of Glacier Hills Credit Union for all their support over the years. As I start the next chapter of my life, I do so knowing that our credit union is in very good hands with Kelly,” said Dennis D. Degenhardt.
Kelly has built a reputation as a successful and compassionate leader, creating a workplace culture that fosters flexibility, respect, and true engagement. Kelly began her career with credit unions in Vermont, and was President/CEO of First Alliance Credit Union in Minnesota for 13 years.
Kelly obtained her Master of Science Degree, cum laude, in Business Continuity Management from Norwich University. Kelly is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s School for Bank Administration and the University of Missouri Columbia’s Senior Management Institute.
Kelly and her husband, Dennis, have been married for 33 years. In her spare time, Kelly follows politics, reads voraciously, hikes, quilts and loves to travel.
“I am very excited to join Glacier Hills Credit Union and the West Bend Community. I am very passionate about the work that credit unions do and eager to continue the tradition of people helping people,” said Kelly McDonough.
