The West Bend Park, Recreation and Forestry Department is partnering with Glacier Hills Credit Union to show free family Friday night flicks. The Friday night flicks are a delightful way to experience Hollywood's finest. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy a fun-filled, family-oriented evening under the stars. Movies will be shown at two locations: by the Regner Park Bandstand area and at Glacier Hills Credit Union. In addition to movie entertainment, you can enjoy affordable concessions at both locations. Participants are asked to bring their own blankets or folding chairs and a flashlight to make for an easier exit following the films. The public should be advised that the movies will be canceled if high wind or heavy rain occur. Smoking is not allowed.

August 14 – Free Auto Loan Headquarters Classic Car Show
Do you enjoy the cars of your youth or remember that great ride with grandpa? Then mark your calendar for our Third Annual Auto Loan Headquarters Classic Car Show at Glacier Hills Credit Union’s home office at 2150 S. Main St. on Saturday August 14th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and see those cars again. Cars you may see include Model A’s, muscle cars from the 60’s and 70’s, classics from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s and of course our President’s 1974 VW Super Beetle. The cost is free to spectators with a nominal fee to show your pride and joy. There will be trophies awarded. There will also be food and refreshments for sale benefiting the Knights of Columbus and CU4Kids with a day filled with fun and great conversation with car guys and gals. Show your car or see what’s on display.
